The Almighty Dollar

All said and done
It's God, the Almighty Dollar
That we worship the most.

China or Guyana, Baroda or Florida
No matter where we go
All said and done
It's God, the Almighty Dollar
That we worship the most.

It's God, the Almighty Dollar
That brings siblings together
Or pulls them apart.
That makes grown children want to visit
Their parents and grandparents.

The Obamas and the Romneys
Republicans, Democrats and the In-betweens
The Rich, the Poor and the Middle Class
All said and done
It's God, the Almighty Dollar
They we worship the most.

The lesser gods
The Jehovahs and the Allahs
The Shivas and the Vishnus
The Jesuses and the Krishnas
The Buddhas and the Mahaviras,
They too seem to crave for and enjoy
The extravaganzas we bestow on them
In all our places of Worship
All but built with the help of
God, the Almighty Dollar
That we worship the most.
